Susanna is proud to be partnering with two area professionals for the dynamic "Check It Off" working seminar series. Please read a bit about Liz and Monica:

ELIZABETH HUCK is an experienced guidance counselor with an enthusiastic approach and a proven track record of success. After receiving her B.S. in Counseling and Human Services from The University of Scranton, Liz went on to earn her M.Ed. from the University of Notre Dame. She taught for three years in Nashville, TN, before moving back to the east coast. Liz worked as a high school guidance counselor and quickly advanced to the position of Director of Guidance at a private high school in Morris County, NJ. In these positions, Liz empowered students through a variety of guidance-related avenues but focused primarily on her niche of college admissions. Every single student she worked with achieved college admission, the vast majority at top-ranked academic schools. Liz finds the admissions process "fun and exciting" but is sensitive to the stress that often accompanies the process for students and their families. Liz alleviates that stress with her comprehensive knowledge, proactive planning, and compassionate guidance. Liz can be reached via email at

MONICA WHITMORE grew up in Mendham, NJ, and also spends time in Sea Girt, NJ, with her family. Monica currenlty serves as vice principal for a Morris County school district. She is a member of a close-knit family and the oldest of seventeen first cousins. Once Monica was successfully off to Villanova University, her mother, Kate, became the go-to college counselor. Soon, Monica's cousins came to her home, from near and far, for college application weeks during summers. Together, Monica and her mother assisted each rising senior with resumes, college applications, scholarship essays, and interview preparation. With the last of Monica's cousins heading off to college, Monica now uses the extensive knowledge and individualized approach she developed to assist students to whom she is not related. Monica has an infectious passion for assisting students and their families through the intracacies of the college admission process. In 2013, she formalized her business, Whitmore College Advisors, so that she can continue the work that she and her mother began at their kitchen table over 15 years ago. Monica can be reached at
